Wrexham and District Orchestral Society

Full symphony Orchestra performing a minimum of 4 concerts per season at University GLYNDWR, Wrexham. Programmes range from classical to family matinees. Currently Orchestra in Residence at University GLYNDWR. Established 1969 we have just celebrated our 50th anniversary. 2020 sees our return to Bridgewater Hall in Manchester where we will perform Mahler 8, the final symphony in our Mahler cycle which has been sponsored by Cobalz. Proceeds from all these concerts are for local dementia charities and towards a new sensory garden in the dementia unit at the Maelor hospital in Wrexham
