Grants of up to £750 are available for small charities and community groups bringing together people over 65 at Christmas. Christmas Connections grants are for organisations connecting older people between 9th December – 2nd Jan, priority will be given to those organisations working in deprived areas and where activities are taking place over the Christmas holiday period. At least 40 grants will be awarded.
Bentley’s Advancing Life Chances Small Grants Programme provides grants up to £500 to support charitable organisations working with vulnerable, disadvantaged or under-represented communities.
Application deadline: 7 October 2024, and quarterly thereafter

Access: Remove the barriers and improve access to services, education and employability.
Empowerment: Development of the life skills that enable people to be more self-confident, successful and thrive in life.

The aim of this programme is to support individuals and organisations who have experienced barriers to accessing Arts Council Wales funding. Creative Steps aims to address this by supporting artists, creatives, and organisations throughout their developmental journey.

The Trustees will consider applications for core costs or projects and are very conscious of the work involved in applying for a grant and encourage charities to consider whether their work aligns with the Trust’s priorities for the next three years before submitting an application.
Active Communities - Our open funding programme open in different parts of Great Britain at different times. We're looking for small and local projects, genuinely designed and run by local people. We offer funding of between £5,000 and £40,000 for projects lasting up to two years.
Your project should be for people who experience greater social and economic disadvantage than those living in other areas. It should create stronger connections between people by helping them to meet up regularly.
