City of Newport Symphony Orchestra – LEADER VACANCY 

We are seeking an experienced violinist/leader to give inspiration and confidence to our string section. The candidate needs to be able to lead with charm and style, enhancing our tradition of friendliness and the enjoyment of making music together. 

The Maidstone and Medway Sinfonia (formerly the Old Barn Orchestral Society) are recruiting regular French Horn players for their forthcoming season.

We rehearse fortnightly in Sale, South Manchester. As a one-per-part band, we expect good attendance from all players. Anyone interested in joining will be invited to take part in a three week trial before being offered a place on a permanent basis.

We have an urgent need for a Principal Trombone player from September 2024.

We perform three concerts per season at Halifax

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Huddersfield Wind Band. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed euphonium player Grade 5 standard or above.

Huddersfield Wind Band is a community concert band led and directed by Mr. John Turnbull who perform a wide range of music from different genres including film, stage, and contemporary works for symphonic wind orchestra.  Furthermore, HWB perform regularly at a variety of concert halls, churches, bandstands and private functions across the Yorkshire region.
