Calling for Musicians in north east London to play in Hackney

Our orchestra is only recently established and we are looking to increase its membership. We play music that ranges from medieval dances through traditional classical pieces to contemporary pop and world music. The ethos for the orchestra is based on creating support and encouragement for players in the early stages of ensemble playing, as well as helping those players returning to their instrument to regain past skills, building versatility and confidence.

We welcome all players who are interested and committed to improving their playing in a friendly and welcoming environment. We rehearse weekly over three school terms. Our aim is to put on two informal concerts every year.

 If you would like to join the orchestra you are more than welcome to come along and give it a try. No audition needed, we welcome any instrument at any level.
